We are part of Community Shares

Each fall, many Colorado workplaces offer employee giving campaigns. Employees are able to donate a dollar amount per paycheck to the charity of their choice. Payroll contribution is a simple and efficient way to support the issues you care about most.

Volunteer Connection is a member of Community Shares of Colorado. Community Shares supports Volunteer Connection and more than 100 other Colorado nonprofits through paycheck contribution campaigns. Community Shares believes in choice in giving and that everyone can make a difference. Last year, Colorado donors pledged more than 1.2 million dollars through Community Shares paycheck contribution campaigns.

Please look for Volunteer Connection in the fall giving campaign at your workplace. We are options in the Colorado Combined Campaign (CCC) #5096, Denver Employees Combined Campaign (DECC) #5096 and take part in the Metro-Combined Federal Campaigns (CFC) #8121.

Also, if your company runs a United Way campaign, you are able to write in Volunteer Connection as a "donor choice" option on the pledge card. While we are not a United Way partner agency, they will direct the donation to us. However, the best way to support Volunteer Connection through workplace giving is to include Community Shares of Colorado in your workplace giving campaign.
